
Lesa Wallace just wanted her own clothes. The third of four kids, she would alter her big sister’s hand-me-downs, or sew original pieces from scratch, determined to have her own look. Years later, she called on that fierce determination and individual style to launch “the ultimate handbag line” – one that fits in with the current trends, but has that classic element so it can be worn season after season.

Park Vogel was born in a Little Tokyo noodle shop. That’s where friends Julie Park (a graphic artist turned fashion designer) and Vanessa Vogel (a costume designer) began dreaming up their “perfect t-shirt.” Starting with a tiny swatch of Italian fabric and a few vintage tees, the duo’s creations were soon popping up in Barney’s, Fred Segal…and the closets of Julia Roberts, Kathryn Heigl, Scarlett Johansson and Halle Berry.
