Team Up with Levi's and Goodwill to Help Save Clothes from Landfills

Did you know that the average person in the US throws away 68 pounds of clothing and textiles a year?

To put those billions of pounds of unwanted clothing to good use instead of landfills, Levi Strauss & Co. and Goodwill launched and important new initiative called “A Care Tag for Our Planet”. Beginning in January 2010, the Levi's brand will add a new and unique dimension to its product care tags – giving people care instructions about how to care for their clothes after they’re no longer wanted.
