Spice things up this Valentine's Day with a line of sexy lingerie from the Kardashian Kollection. This line of lingerie is available is a variety of colors and patterns including pink, leopard, black, floral and much more! The line consists of bras, briefs, slips and corsets. All items are affordable and are guaranteed to impress your man.

Check out the Kardashian Kollection lingerie in addition to the rest of the Kardashian Kollection line at Sears stores and online at Sears.com.

I received the bra and panties that are featured in the picture above, the Kardashian Kollection Smooth Everyday Strapless Convertible Bra with Diamante ($39) and Smooth Everyday Brief with Diamante Buckle ($25) in Nude/Gold (Also Available in Black/Silver). The look and quality surpassed my expectations. Therefore, I can easily understand why their pieces have been flying off the racks.

The bra that I received is available in a 32B - 36D, and the panties are available in a S - L. Both are utterly comfortable and flattering. I'd normally opt for Black, but the Nude/Gold is undeniably gorgeous. I'm very picky when it comes to lingerie, but I wouldn't mind having each piece from their Intimate Collection. Everything is sexy and flirty without pushing the envelope, which is a hard to pull off with lingerie at these affordable prices.

Award-Winning Looks of 2012

While the Golden Globes are over, there are still plenty of awards shows to get us fashionistas through the cold winter months. The Globes saw the emergence of several new trends, as well as some more of the same. But what will the Oscars and the Grammys bring? Using the Globes as a reference point, Fashion Designer and Expert Claudia Patel shares what she think swill be big for the coming (and historically more fashionably exciting) red carpet opportunities.

Sheer Cut-Outs

This past Sunday night, we saw a lot of risk taking in the cut-out and sheer department. Red carpet veteran Lea Michele and newcomer Rooney Mara alike embraced this trend full throttle, and judging by how their choices were received by critics, Claudia predicts there will be a lot more of these options to come. “The focus on sheer areas as well as strategically placed cut-outs was a very exciting deviation from the steady stream of nude and red gowns that we have already seen. Not for the faint of heart, these styles are gutsy and fashion forward. We’ll be seeing more of them in the near future.”

Statement Accessories

While jewelry is certainly a main component of every red carpet look, the Globes showcased a more obvious move toward show-stopping pieces. As Claudia puts it, “I really loved the emergence of headbands this year. It’s rare to see celebrities utilizing hair jewelry, and that little bit of sparkle among the same old hair trends was both invigorating and cutting edge. In the battle of the bling, stars like Heidi Klum led the pack. She embodied the perfect balance between a simple, body-conscious gown and an elaborate, intricate, scene-stealing necklace.”

Metallic Embellishment

From Nicole Richie’s all-over beaded frock to Salma Hayek’s geometric gold-paneled design, embellishment was a hit at this year’s Golden Globes. Claudia says, “I enjoyed seeing Salma Hayek work the metallic, futuristic look so confidently. Considering she mentioned to commentators that she had switched her dress at the last minute, this was definitely a good move! Nicole Richie’s all-over silver beading was a sparkling, bold approach to the trend, and Zooey Deschanel let the embellishment be the star by choosing a dress that faded from black to bright green beading.”

Color Blocking

We saw some stars experiment with this trend from the runway, and Claudia doesn’t see any reason that it should slow down for the rest of awards season. “Celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Claire Danes proved that color blocking patterns are not only flattering, unexpected, and fun, but they are also regal. Often, color blocking is seen as a more casual trend, but the details on these gowns were truly breathtaking, and as a result, both Claire and Angelina found their way onto many best dressed lists. In my opinion, other stars should take note of this and run with it for the upcoming shows,” says Claudia.

A rather different silhouette also stormed the red carpet, putting the ladies that rocked it way ahead of their competitors in the trend department. Claudia says, “Say it with me now: peplum! After seasons of seeing this look displayed on runways, it seems that the star community has finally taken note. With actresses like Julianne Moore and Madeline Stowe leading the way, I think that we’ll see a lot more of the peplum silhouette in the future. One of the biggest overall trends for spring, ladylike has emerged as a frontrunner in gown design as well, and I can’t wait to see more!”

1) ZigZag Dress: Prints add a ton of depth to your closet. We love the Signature Schulz Zig Zag Striped Beige Dress ($41) at LuLus and Sis Sis Eliesse Dress ($33.99) at For Elyse.

2) Denim Shirt: Every celeb has been spotted in one this season and has total resurgence.

3) Pull Over Sweater: Great marbled knit sweater - black, brown, cream and heavier weave makes it look a lot more expensive.

4) Taupe Skinny Cords: They give you a great feminine update to classic cords. Stretchy legging and jegging make it so comfortable.

5) Blue Blazer: You can throw it over anything and it automatically makes everything look more stylish and polished.

6) Moto Vest: Mixes expensive looking textures of shearling and leather.

7) Plaid Shirt: Classic print for winter feminine cut with darts helps keep the shape nice. Light colors keep it neutral/versatile.

8) Lace Up Boots: The ankle boot is the must have shoe for the winter. It pairs well with pants but looks really adorable with dresses and skirts. It’s a vintage meets modern.

Wardrobe Basics: Go from Drab to Fab This Year

Wednesday, January 11, 2012

January and February are challenging months to get dressed—Fall is long gone and Spring is not quite here. This, combined with a possible vacation to somewhere warm and tropical, means your wardrobe is doing some serious multi-tasking. With the help of these five fantastic wardrobe basics, looking great will be effortless:

1. Have a Blazer On Hand - A blazer is an easy way to dress up an outfit: mix it with jeans, khakis, pants or even a pencil skirt to go from casual to dressy. Blazers in black, gold or white mixed with floral print dresses are a big trend for Spring, so a well-fit blazer will be an essential piece throughout the year.

2. Dark Wash Jeans with Minimal Decoration - These have become a great item that takes you from work to play or from day to night. It’s best to choose a fabric weight that works year-round. Denim is a consistent fashion staple, so more than one pair never hurts!

3. The Crisp White Woven Shirt - This is the wardrobe staple that’s a go-to when you simply do not know what to wear. Take your cue from Jackie Kennedy, who showed up year - round in a crisp white button-down shirt, keeping it simple but always classic.

4. The LBD (Little Black Dress) – This type of dress works every season and any time of the year; it’s all in how you accessorize it. Most style experts will tell you “Don’t leave home without your favorite statement piece of jewelry and your Little Black Dress!” If you are not sure what to wear in a more formal situation, always reach for your LBD!

5. Camisoles and Tank Tops – This year, select stylish, well-fitted camisoles and tanks in colors that flatter your skin tone. These must look good when worn under sweaters and jackets or just by themselves; this way, they are extremely versatile and work in any season.
