4 cups water 1 x 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes 2 x 16-ounce cans pinto beans, drained and rinsed 1 x 16-ounce can solid pack pumpkin 1 cup chopped onion 1 cup chopped red bell pepper 2/3 cup uncooked bulgur wheat 1 x 4-ounce can chopped green chilies 2-1/2 tablespoons chili powder 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 teaspoon salt
Put all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 30-35 minutes until bulgur is tender.
